Bookkeeper and General Office Assistant
Flexible, can be combined with the customer care position for full-time

Job Summary: Position includes AR/AP clerical, bookkeeping, project management, relief for front-desk/customer care.   

Responsibilities:

• Provides general office assistance including phone, mail, ticket and email support
• Provides simple estimates
• Communicates complex estimates
• Monitors job progress and schedules
• Monitors orders and information requests and communicates with vendors, clients or staff as required.
• Converts estimates to invoices
• Ensures invoices are ready before client arrives to pickup up job or job is shipped.
• Enters vendor invoices into accounting programs
• Enters client payments into CRM. Assists with Interact/Visa/Mastercard transactions
• Prepares deposits
• Reports or follows-up on outstanding invoices
• Compiles any needed reports
• Assists with incoming and outgoing correspondence
• Maintains an organized filing system
• Assists in research
• Orders office supplies
• Reconciles accounts
• Keeps track of book inventory
• Conducts herself/himself in a professional manner at all times.

Job Requirements:

• Post secondary training in bookkeeping and/or previous office experience required.
• Self starter able to work with minimal supervision
